Marites has extensive experience in financial audit, single audit, agreed-upon procedures and compliance attestation examination for entities in the higher education, government, gaming, healthcare and small businesses industries. With over 20 years of accounting and audit experience, Marites experts in specific accounting needs across a broad range of industries and applies her skills to solve and strategize her clients’ financial concerns.
Marites received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Marites is a certified public accountant in Illinois and California, a certified internal auditor and a certified information systems auditor.
