Juna-Lou Advincula, CPA, is a Manager on Roth & Co’s Accounting and Assurance team, based in the firm’s Chicago office. With more than 10 years of combined public accounting and governmental audit experience, Juna has been an integral member of the firm for five years. She specializes in Illinois state compliance examinations, single audits performed under Uniform Guidance, and financial audits conducted in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and Office of the Auditor General (OAG) requirements. She serves a broad range of governmental and not-for-profit clients.
Juna’s areas of expertise include compliance examinations, financial audits, and single audits, with a strong focus on government entities, including state agencies, universities, Regional Offices of Education, and municipalities. Her strengths include audit planning, internal control evaluation, risk assessment, compliance testing, and the development of audit findings and recommendations. She oversees engagement teams, mentors staff, and works closely with clients and firm leadership to ensure the successful delivery of audit and compliance engagements.
Juna holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Southern Luzon State University, where she graduated cum laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
