Joan Lopez Angeles, CPA, is a Manager at Roth & Co, LLP, based in the firm’s Chicago office, where she has been building her career since August 2021. In her current role, she leads the Healthcare, Government, and Gambling/Casino teams, overseeing multiple engagement groups across a diverse portfolio of clients. Her work spans financial statement audits, Single Audits, and compliance examinations, with a particular focus on nursing home clients under Roth&Co’s Healthcare practice, as well as universities and state agencies under the Government practice.
Joan earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from De La Salle Lipa, graduating as an Academic Distinction Awardee. She is an active member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and currently serves as Secretary of the International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting (ISFFA) – Chicago Chapter, a role she has held since July 2025.
