The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success.

This individual will schedule meetings with prospective clients in order to understand their needs and collaborate with Roth&Co partners to secure new clients.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years sales experience. Sales background in technology products, SaaS, professional services, audit, tax, and/or advisory services
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or other relevant fields of study
  • A strong lead-generation professional
  • Experience helping secure new clients and generate revenue with targeted service offerings
  • Negotiation skills
  • Background working with full sale-cycle
  • Confidence, positive attitude and interpersonal skills to build new client relationships

Responsibilities

    • Develop strong and collaborative relationships with partners
    • Research organizations and individuals to identify new prospects, client needs and potential new markets
    • Generate new leads to sustain building a pipeline
    • Secure new clients and revenue streams for the firm
    • Conduct needs assessments and develop plans to pursue leads
    • Assist in negotiations and closing deals and convert cold targets into warm leads
    • Build an understanding of Roth&Co’s key service offerings
    • Perform regular and prompt follow-up on all generated leads
    • Maintain a clear understanding of who the team wishes to target for BD purposes, and why
    • Build an understanding of accounting firm operations
    • Continuously cultivate new client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and timely invoicing, billing and collections
