Client Accounting Service Manager – Remote

This is a 100% remote role.  A blend between managing our internal accounting team and being client facing.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for multiple clients. Review balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements for accuracy.
  • Conduct financial analysis on month end reports and send video explanations to clients.
  • Assist with Client Training on QBO, Bill.com and Payroll Integrations.
  • Respond to client questions regarding their financial reports.
  • Train and mentor CAS team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client accounting processes through automation and technology.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
  • Experience working at CPA firm and balancing many clients
  • 5+ Years in Accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in a CAS department preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Bill.com and Integrations.
  • Advanced experience with Excel.
  • Comfortable working remotely, using video and communicating via Teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize without supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed, less than 20% of your time.
