What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience in a public accounting firm.
- Strong ability to manage multiple high-demand projects while delivering work on time and within budget.
- Exceptional technical skills across a broad range of accounting issues.
- Proven capability to supervise, train, and develop staff.
- Professionalism and composure under pressure, with clients and colleagues alike.
- Expertise in a specific service or industry beyond core technical competence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff by providing guidance, on-the-job training, and feedback.
- Oversee engagement work to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to budgets.
- Identify risks on engagements and implement effective plans to manage them.
- Manage all aspects of engagements, including fee quoting, planning, staffing, letters, and budget approvals, while streamlining office procedures.
- Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex accounting and business issues.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and actively contribute to business development and networking initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and professional standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
