We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Senior Associate to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented tax professional looking to take on more responsibility, manage engagements, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-demand projects while staying on budget and on schedule.
  • Strong technical skills across accounting and tax matters.
  • Capability to supervise staff and provide effective mentorship.
  • Professionalism and composure under pressure with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality, technically accurate work with minimal manager review.
  • Schedule and manage engagements effectively, avoiding last-minute rushes.
  • Supervise, train, and provide feedback to staff to ensure engagement quality and timeliness.
  • Oversee all engagement work, including planning, writing engagement letters, establishing budgets, completing work papers, and final deliverables, with potential involvement in billing.
  • Develop strong client relationships and establish trust and confidence.
  • Support business development by identifying leads and service opportunities for managers and partners.
  • Actively participate in networking and community events to enhance the firm’s visibility.
  • Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support team and firm goals.
