We are seeking a reliable and motivated intern to join our team with the goal of developing into a long-term team member. This role supports schools participating in child nutrition programs, accreditation processes, and other school-related grants in NY & NJ.
The internship will begin with administrative and client support responsibilities and gradually expand into compliance work, project coordination, and broader operational support as skills and experience grow.
The role is expected to continue through May 2026, with the potential to extend beyond that date based on performance, initiative, and workload.
Responsibilities
- Support school food program documentation and related compliance tasks
- Assist with accreditation processes and regulatory requirements
- Perform general administrative and secretarial duties
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email
- Prepare, organize, and maintain applications and required documentation
- Track deadlines and ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions
- Conduct basic research and assist with project coordination
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects
