Roth&Co is seeking a Resource Scheduler for the Audit practice.

A career in deployment and resource management will provide you with the opportunity to help our teams be even more agile while providing the right people on the right projects at the right time. You’ll focus on ensuring that resources with suitable skills and caliber are available for tasks and activities as required, as well as managing the training, planning, and skills enhancement associated with those resources.

You’ll work directly with all client service engagement team members, and partner with HR, Recruiting, Learning and Development, and Finance. As a team, we maximize resource sharing and enable the delivery of Roth&Co services to our clients through cross-team staffing, forecasting, utilization, and workload balancing, while also supporting development and career interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining engagement team members’ schedules in Practice Engine, including contacting engagement team members regarding Practice Engine profile upkeep and maintenance (chargeable, non-chargeable, and time away).
  • Coordinating and leading scheduling meetings and managing the day-to-day maintenance of deploying engagement team members.
  • Consulting with HR team and engagement managers on more challenging deployment issues.
  • Monitoring and reporting on available engagement team members.
  • Supporting the management team on deployment goals and balancing work assignments across the practice.
  • Forecast client needs and strategically matching people with engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong relationships with various levels within an organization.
  • Uphold the firm’s core values, purpose, and code of conduct.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proven ability to self-start and work independently.
  • Strong skills in organizing and managing large datasets (Excel, Practice Engine, scheduling platform, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to influence without authority with a high degree of diplomacy.
  • Experience generating and reviewing reports for utilization and forecast-to-actual comparisons and following up with Associates to resolve discrepancies.

Other requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum three years corporate or professional services experience in a project-oriented role; Resource Management experience preferred.
  • Hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office,  if local. Fully remote is a possibility for highly qualified candidates.
  • Some travel between offices as necessary .
