Position: Audit Manager

About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and can lead a team to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.

What You’ll Need:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a public accounting firm
  • CPA license (required)
  • Master’s degree in accounting
  • Strong technical expertise across a variety of accounting and auditing issues
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-demand projects at once
  • Experience supervising and mentoring a team
  • Professionalism and poise with clients and staff, even in high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish – including planning, budgeting, staffing, and client communication
  • Review work prepared by your team before it goes to the partner, aiming for minimal revisions
  • Provide clear feedback, training, and support to staff to help them grow and succeed
  • Identify risks during engagements and develop strategies to address them
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence
  • Spot opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to pursue new business opportunities
  • Represent the firm in professional and community networks
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as needed
