Skills Required:

• 1-3 years’ experience in a public accounting firm
• The ability to balance multiple projects at once
• Good technical skills across a broad range of accounting and tax issues

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Tax Accounting software

Responsibilities:

• Dealing with the IRS or State Agencies representing clients under tax audits
• Organize data and track data provided as well as data pending from client
• Uses Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets to quantify, manipulate data and build modules\Performs research
• Prepare basic notes to be used in drafting technical memos
• Scheduling projects/engagements based on priorities, due dates, etc. and completing them in a timely manner, avoiding last-minute rush jobs
• Communicates the status of their work to their team internally

• Utilizing your technical knowledge and skills to submit self-reviewed work
• Developing meaningful contact with clients and gaining their confidence
• Participating in the firm’s business development activities
• Adhering to and communicating firm policies and procedures
• Performing other job-related duties as required
