Training:

Two week of an in-depth comprehensive training to get familiar with the software and audit methodology. The program is designed to familiarize interns with the knowledge needed to perform a financial statement audit. After completing the internship program an intern will have the ability to work on an audit effectively and efficiently..

What you will learn:

• What an audit is and what it entails
• Auditing cash
• Auditing fixed assets
• Auditing accounts payable
• Auditing revenue
• Auditing receivables

Software you will use:

• CCH Engagement Solutions
• QuickBooks
• Excel
• PPC Smart Practice Aids

General description of responsibilities:

• Assist in audit preparation with fellow team members
• Work with clients’ QuickBooks files
• Work with CCH Engagement
• Assist with gathering data and organizing workpapers

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Accounting
• Students entering their junior or senior year of college highly preferred.
• A desire to learn and grow in the field of tax accounting
• A positive attitude
