HR Administrator, NY


Summary:

Roth&Co, a top-150 public accounting and advisory services firm, is looking for an experienced, talented and energetic human resources administrator to join our New Jersey location. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the firm by being involved in recruitment, hiring, terminations, employee relations and HR best practices, while maintaining a positive morale in the firm. This is a full-time position.

 

Skills Required:

  • 2-4 years’ HR experience
  • Experience in recruitment, hiring, terminations and employee relations
  • Familiarity with HR best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite and adaptability to learn new software
  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
  • Strong empathetic and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented nature and excellent organizational skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Team player

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of HR functions and responsibilities
  • Maintaining HR records
  • Participating in and tracking annual performance reviews
  • Scheduling, preparing and participating in career fairs
  • Responding to employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules and regulations
  • Coordinating HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.)
  • Assisting with recruiting and onboarding
  • Preparing training schedules for new employees and conducting initial orientation
  • Coordinating, scheduling and preparing our internship programs
  • Involvement in training and development programs
  • Maintaining good handle of CPE credits
  • Assisting in creating new policies and procedures as needed
  • Providing administrative support by efficiently preparing documentation and materials as needed
